From exports to a review report.
Start with the synthetic sample, then try small exports with a reliable shared record ID. This application compares data; you decide what each difference means.
Compare two order exports by record ID: download the synthetic inputs, map the fields and check your report against the expected 2 matches and 6 review entries.
- Export CSV. In Excel or another spreadsheet, save each sheet as UTF-8 CSV. Native .xlsx, PDF and database connections are not supported.
- Choose a delimiter. Select comma, semicolon or tab for each source. Quoted cells may contain delimiters, quotes and newlines.
- Map columns. Choose a record-key column on each side. Add amount and currency columns if relevant. Configure the optional fields consistently on both sides.
- Choose the decimal format. Dot and comma decimal separators are supported explicitly. Remove thousands grouping before importing; the tool does not guess number formats.
- Compare. Review matches, missing records, differences, duplicates and invalid rows. Duplicate keys need review before matching.
- Export. Download the CSV review report. A mapping profile contains settings only and can be reused without storing customer rows.
Extract the ZIP into a folder. Open index.html in a current desktop browser. Keep the application files together. No command prompt, installation, account or API key is needed to run the downloaded app.
Supported scope
The full version accepts up to 10,000 data rows and 2 MiB per source. The free demo supports 50 rows per source. The record key is trimmed and compared exactly, with case preserved. Amounts use exact decimal comparison. Currency conversion, fuzzy matching, split-invoice consolidation and automated financial entries are outside this version.
Interpreting the report
A missing row may reflect a different export filter or reporting period. An amount difference may reflect gross versus net values, credits, installments or a legitimate update. Check these conditions before taking action. A review item is not evidence of recovered or lost money.
